BITE

The band BITE is the sonic sound of underground Punk giving way to an exciting transformation of straight up Rock. With lyrics from frontwoman and founding member Chelsea Rose about living on the edge and social unrest, it hits the audience right where it counts.
Since 1997, BITE has brought its Punk ’n’ Roll to all parts of California—including the Bay Area, the northern coast, and the south—as well as New York. The group has been influenced by the Ramones, New York Dolls, Blondie, Dead Boys, Hanoi Rocks, The Heartbreakers, and the Misfits, and is proud to say that it has shared the stage with members of all these bands.
Besides Chelsea, other players in BITE include guitarist, songwriter, and founding member Krazy Keith; bassist Johnny Trench Coat, who joined in 2007; and Eric “Diablo” Borst, since 2016.
BITE’s current release was written during the pandemic, and includes songs about struggle, hope, lost love, and the club scene—and even a song about a dog belonging to Chelsea and Keith. The band is currently working on its next project.
